Offered is an excellent example of the King Edward VII type of the silver Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, with this particular example awarded to Seaman 1st Class G Hay at Dundee on 16 July 1910. We have not had much success in our cursory research regarding this medal, meaning that there is extensive scope for further discovery regarding this piece. In all, a very appealing example of a scarcer medal (this variant was only issued in 1909-1910).
