Offered is a 8th-6th c. BC bronze oblanceolate arrowhead with flange midrib and barbs from ancient Lydia (now in Turkey). Measuring 4.7cm in length, this piece bears earthen deposits as well as a strong underlying bronze-green patina. Malloy notes that this type is unusual, and localised to the region surrounding Sardis (now Start).
