Offered is an ever-popular 'Inseparable Friends, To Elba' brass jetton produced to celebrate the final defeat and exile of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in 1814. The piece depicts Napoleon riding an ass backward, being led by the Devil. Condition is good for this type, despite being tidily pierced. Probably the most famous of Kettle's medalets, this piece is a must have for any serious collector of the series.
