Offered is a charming 1567 hammered silver threepence coin, mint mark coronet, struck under the reign of Elizabeth I, Spink#2566. Although the portrait has suffered on this particular example (as is fairly typical), the reverse remains full of good detail, including date and mint mark, making this a good beginner’s piece.
