Offered is a rare 1912 ‘bright finish’ (ie not mint darkened) Farthing, issued under the reign of King George V, KM#808.1, Freeman#590, SP#4060. Only the 3rd known example to have escaped artificially toning at the Mint, there is some speculation that these may have been VIP presentation pieces. Either way, a brilliant and lustrous piece for the discerning collector.
