Offered is a wonderful pattern, off-metal strike (silver) of the 1817 Reformation commemorative 2 Ducat (or doppeldukaten) from the free city of Frankfurt, KM#Pn50. This piece is superbly struck, and although dipped at some point, retains clean, flashy fields. All in all, a scarce and appealing specimen strike, and a must have for religious thematic collectors.
