Offered is an example of the ever-popular ‘Wedding’ Thaler issued in 1861 to commemorate the coronation of Wilhelm I and Augusta as King and Queen of Prussia, KM#488. Although this example has been improperly cleaned, and has suffered some solder damage to the obverse, it retains much good detail, and would make a good type coin for this 1 year type.
