Offered is an unusual Aluminium badge, issued to an NSDAP member on the occasion of the 1935 Day of Work event - one of the more widespread Third Reich badges or ‘Tinnies.’ This 46mm x 34mm example was produced by the firm Paul Merkins, and being fully marked, is from a scarcer and sought maker. Good overall condition with some scratches in the field at top, otherwise a great period item.
