Offered is a lovely full Penny token produced by Thomas Halliday in around 1812, CH#LC-47D1. The scarcer of the two denominations of this design circulated in the Canadas, this example is of the '12 leaves in laurel crown' variety. Although bearing some typical contact marks, this piece sports good detail for the type, as well as an original, mahogany patina.
