Offered is a handsome 1950s Madison dress watch with centre sweep-seconds and partly textured dial. A typical example of refined mid-century design, this piece is housed in a 34mm gold-plated case with stainless screw back. The watch is powered by a well-finished adjusted 21-jewel manual-wind mechanical Swiss movement, which is in good working order.
Condition is good overall considering age and the profile of this piece, with the original dial being in exceptional condition. A brand new black leather snake-grain band has been fitted. A great watch to daily which would suit most any occasion.
