Offered is a scarce 1919-21 3r small change note, being the first issue for this type, PICK#83. Printed using the Oryol offset method, this ‘multi-coloured reverse’ example can prove remarkably challenging to locate in decent grades - much more so than the ‘unicolour’ type which replaced it. This example, although most pleasing overall, displays a paper-join which we have observed on other notes of this issue - we here treat it as a fault, but consider it very plausible that it was present before printing. An interesting piece overall.
