Offered is a charming 2 Pence ‘Turner,’ or ‘Bodle’ coin, issued for Scotland in 1652-60 under the reign of King Charles I, KM#69, SP#5602. Struck at Edinburgh, coins of this type are seldom seen as well-struck, or in as good condition as this example. This piece retains good detail (particularly in the thistle), as well as an excellent chocolate patina. A really great type coin!
