Offered is a lovely 1885 sterling silver Gothic Florin, issued under the reign of Queen Victoria, being of the ‘small trefoils’ type (dies 9B), KM#746.4, SP#3900, ESC#861, Bull#2909, Davies#777. A very pleasing, higher-grade example which retains great detail and eye-appeal despite the obverse being historically cleaned. A great type coin which is decidedly better in-hand.
