Netherlands East Indies 1786 Silver 10 Stuivers

€300.00

Offered is a .920AR 10 Stuiver, struck in 1786 at Utrecht for use in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) under the authority of the United East India Company (VoC), whose monogram is visible on the obverse, KM#115, Delmonte#S-1205d, Ver#201.4, Scholt II#73. Although the depiction of Pallas (Dutch Virgin) on the reverse was common to the Dutch issues of this denomination, the obverse is a purely colonial type. A very strong example overall, with great detail and a fantastic patina.
