Offered is a fascinating 42mm, 37g gilt bronze medal commemorating the unveiling of the Krupp monument in Essen in 1892, SLG.WUZRB.T4786. The Krupp dynasty of industrialists is probably best known for their massive armaments manufactory, making this piece of both WWI and WWII interest. The medal itself is in good overall condition, retaining virtually all of its gilt, and displaying only trivial rub. Some minor edge dings do little to detract. A scarce piece of both German industrial and military history.
