Offered is a lovely, Crown-sized silver 10 Zlotych, being of the Pilsudski type, issued in 1939, KM#Y29. The 1.2 million mintage associated with this date is an estimate, and regardless, these coins faced horrific attrition owing to the events transpiring in September that year. This example well above average, having being certified by NGC as AU-58, with this example sitting decidedly at the high end of that grade (we had it next to an MS-60 example graded by the same agency, and failed to notice any easily perceptible difference).
