Offered is a handsome, uncirculated 1971 Kościuszko 10zl coin, being of the ‘long 1 / narrow 7 in date’ (type II) variety (the much rarer of the two for this date), KM#Y50a. This example as struck and with far fewer contact marks expected of an NGC MS62 grade (these were notoriously bag transported and stored). The type 2 or B variety (of which this is an example) appears to represent only around 15-20% of extant examples, making this variety a tough ask, especially as appealing as this piece.
