Offered is a lovely, high-grade 1970 Kościuszko 10zl coin, being of the ‘wide openings in date’ or ‘thin date numbers’ (type II) variety (the scarcer of the two), KM#Y50a. This example as struck with light russet-yellow tone, graded by NGC as MS65 - as these were notoriously bag transported and stored, coins at this grade level are something of an ask, despite reasonable mintages. The reverse in particular being absolutely superb for the type.
