Enicar Sport 1948-50 Men's 'Military' Wristwatch
Offered is a lovely, all-original Enicar Sport, produced in 1948-50 in the ‘military’ style with sub-seconds hand. The all-stainless, screw-back case measures 34mm in diameter (large for the period), and is in good cosmetic condition despite scratches on the case back. The original dial is in superb condition for a watch of this age, being near-perfect with the exception to a bit of rub to some numerals. The crystal is in superb condition, and the unusual 17-jewel (the vast majority were 15j) Enicar-branded Felsa 390 movement works perfectly. Comes on a new, quality black snake-textured leather band.
Generally, a very handsome watch in good vintage condition. The wearability of this piece is huge, and the subdued ‘military’ style of this piece means that it can transition easily from formal to casual occasions without issue. A really honest, solid watch.
