Offered is an interesting ca 1968 Tissot Seastar, equipped with the transitional cal 430 (ESA 9150) ‘Dynotron’ electronic movement. This watch retains an electronically controlled balance meter, but still makes use of a pinwheel and balance. The movement and date function are working and accurate.
This all-original piece is in good overall condition, with minimal wear to the 37mm gold-plated case (one substantial scuff in the bezel-area). The champagne brushed dial is in immaculate shape, and this watch retains its signed crown. A great vintage piece, and an unusual part of watchmaking history.
