Offered is a lovely 1950s Gruen Precision wristwatch featuring both a textured dial and ‘fancy’ flared lugs. This 32mm gold-plated piece is in very good, all-original condition, featuring only minor signs of wear. Owing to the lug-configuration, this watch sits well on the wrist, and indeed wears larger than the case diameter might suggest. The manual wind 17j mechanical movement is running well and keeping good time. In all, a fantastic example of the mid-century design which made Gruen one of the most iconic watchmakers of this period.
