Offered is an exceedingly rare 1976-78 Girrard-Perregaux 'Casquette' LED wristwatch case and bracelet, being one of only 2000 Makrolon units produced in the original run. The Casquette is considered to be an important piece of 20th century watchmaking, and represents a remarkable example of 1970s design.
The movement is not present, and there are only 2 screws in the caseback (case 31mm x 40mm). Otherwise, condition is quite good for the age, with some minor scuffs here and there, but remaining largely problem-free. Please see photos for condition and details.
