There were only 7000 proofs minted of each denomination for the coronation year of Elizabeth II, and this example has been certified by NGC as a very solid PF-64. The quality of strike really brings out the stunning workmanship of both Mrs. Gillick's classic portrait, as well as the ever-popular rendition of a Maori warrior produced by Piaget. All in all, a scarce and desirable coin for the commonwealth or specialized collector alike!
