Offered here is a charming 48mm chromium plated Swiss lever pocket watch, dating from the latter 1920s or 1930s. Other than the depiction of a sporting automobile on the dial, there is a wonderful engraved vignette of a vintage motor at speed on the case back. The movement is not functional, with the balance loose, but this novelty timepiece remains just that - a jaunty and unusual piece of automotive history.
