Offered is an example of the scarcer 1899 ‘Veiled Bust’ with LXIII edge lettering, KM#783. With a mintage of a little over 166 000, and this being the rarer of the 2 edge letterings, this particular combination can prove tricky indeed. Although historically whizzed (which has left surface hairlines across the entirety of the fields), this coin retains good detail, and has attractively retoned a light gunmetal. In all, a more affordable example for a specialized type run.
