Edward VII 1909 Shilling w. Original Seaby Slip
Offered is a solid 1909 silver Shilling, issued under the reign of King Edward VII, KM#800. This example retains above-average detail for the type, as well as a lovely, original gunmetal patina. As a bonus, this piece comes accompanied by the Seaby slip in which it was sold in the 1960s (pencil notations refer to other coins that the collector added to the same pouch, which we removed). In all, a wholeome piece with a good provenance.
