Victoria 1866 Silver Shilling - NGC MS64
Offered is a magnificent 1866, die 29 sterling silver 1/-, issued under the reign of Queen Victoria, KM#734.3. The crispness of strike and lovely hues of russet, cobalt and mauve which dance across the fields speak to a piece which would be exceedingly difficult to upgrade. Slabbed in an old NGC holder as choice UNC (MS-64), this specimen is truly an example for the discerning collector - we have never handled a young bust Shilling this nice before, and we suspect that it will be a considerable while before we see another in it’s league.
