Offered is a scarce 19mm billon Sesino issued by anonymous consortia in Frinco ca. 1581-1601, MIR#67/2. These are imitative pieces of the issues of Venice, with the obverse depicting the Lion of St. Mark, surrounded by inscription SANTVS MARCVS VENET F. The reverse bears a cross with pellets, inscription MARINVS GRIMANO DVX around. These were generally crudely struck, and are prone to corrosion, making this fully identifiable survivor a solid example for the type.
