Offered is an unmounted mint (mint never hinged) corner marginal block of Sweden’s first airmail stamp, issued in 1912, FACIT#HF1. These scarce stamps were semi-offical, and first issued at the aeronautical exposition held at Visby that year. They were subsequently used on a number of ‘pioneer’ flights. A lovely, early piece of aviation memorabilia.
