Silver Tri-Strand Ca. 1910 Watch Chain / St. Johns Ambulance Fob
Offered is a lovely, ornate 18cm silver pocket watch chain and fob. The chain itself is marked ‘REAL SILVER’ on the clip, and appears to be of American manufacture - every element is richly decorated, and as such, it exudes vintage charm.
For its part, the St. Johns Ambulance fob is marked as sterling silver, manufactured in 1923 in Birmingham, and was awarded to one Francis J. Woods of St. Johns Gate, Clerkenwell.
All in all, a fascinating and most visually appealing piece.
