Wittnauer Ca. 1950 Stainless Automatic Men's Wristwatch

$265.00

Offered is a lovely, all-stainless ‘military’ style mens wristwatch, likely being ca. 1950. This all-original 32mm example features a Longines co-designed 17j automatic movement, and is keeping perfect time. Of note is that this is an exceedingly early production-run auto, with the feature not even yet featuring on the original dial.

Although the dial displays some typical lume-burn, it is our opinion that this does little else than to speak to the originality of this watch, lending some good vintage patina. The case is in very good condition for the age of this piece, which is sitting on a as-new vintage stainless expansion bracelet. A great historic timepiece for the Longines-Wittnauer enthusiast, and a highly wearable example!
